A person with a verified photo can show their Digital iD™ to prove who they are, face-to-face. They can also use Keypass in Digital iD™ as proof of age to enter licensed venues and purchase alcohol (VIC, QLD, NT & TAS and on trial in the Civic region of ACT).

Scanning is the safest way to verify that it’s a genuine Digital iD™.

  • Scan the QR code using a phone or tablet with the Digital iD™ app.
  • Check that it matches the person’s details.

Scanning the QR code is the safest way to verify that it’s a genuine Keypass in Digital iD™.

There are two different ways you can scan:

  • Use a scanning machine.
  • Use a phone or tablet with the Digital iD™ app.
